I’m Garrett Volk, and I run the crews at Neita Mover. Packing is the part people underestimate right up until the night before, when the kitchen alone eats a whole evening. We treat it as its own trade — not something a moving crew rushes on the way to loading the truck. We’ve packed Indianapolis households since 2014.
Boxes, packing paper, tape, and wardrobe boxes for your hanging clothes are all built into the flat rate. Nothing to buy at the hardware store ahead of time, nothing itemized after the fact. My crew chief Cody Reinhart leads most of our fragile-heavy packs and knows how to crate the awkward stuff.

You don’t have to hand us the whole house. Point us at the kitchen and the china cabinet and leave the closets to yourself — we’ll quote just the rooms you want, materials included, up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage once your things are in our hands.
The early-1900s homes in Old Northside and Fountain Square come with built-ins, antique glassware, and closets that fight a standard box. The Carmel and Fishers new-builds come with volume — more rooms, more boxes, more of everything. We pack both, but they need different plans, and we make that plan on the walkthrough.
Packing day and move day rarely have to be the same date. Plenty of families want us packing a weeknight evening so the truck runs clean on Saturday. Evening and weekend packing bills at the standard rate. Once it’s boxed, the move still needs a truck — see local moving or, if you’re leaving the state, long-distance moving. Boxes need to sit a while first? Short-term storage holds them, and the moving calculator prices the whole thing.
Every item below comes with the job by default — you’ll never find it added back as a line item later.
