Are you a moving company?
Yes — Neita Mover is a fully licensed and insured Indianapolis, IN moving company running our own trucks and uniformed crew, with Indiana household-goods authority and US DOT and MC authority.
How is your local pricing structured?
Two movers and a truck run a flat $149 an hour, and a three-mover crew is $199 an hour, both with a one-hour minimum. Blankets, dollies, and shrink-wrap are included, and we commit the flat number to writing before anything is loaded.
Will the total on move day match the quote you gave me?
Yes. We size your job first, then write down a binding flat rate you approve before we load. Barring you adding items, the figure on booking day is the figure you pay.
How do you get furniture through the tight staircases in Old Northside and Fountain Square?
Cody Reinhart leads our historic near-north jobs and scouts the stairwell approach and truck-staging spot ahead of time. On those early-1900s brick homes we also line up street-permit parking so the crew isn't circling the block.
Can you file a certificate of insurance for my downtown or IUPUI high-rise?
Absolutely. Danielle coordinates COIs with building management and books the freight-elevator window, which is standard for the apartment and condo towers we move through downtown and near IUPUI.
Do you relocate people to other states?
We do. Our US DOT and MC authority covers interstate moves along the I-65 and I-70 corridors and beyond, and the crew that loads you in Indianapolis is the same crew that carries it to your new address.
How do winter ice and spring storms affect my move date?
December through February our crews carry ice-melt and traction mats for frozen porches and stairs. During spring tornado-watch weeks we'll reschedule around active warnings rather than run a crew through severe weather, and we tarp for sudden downpours.
What protection covers my belongings in transit?
Every move carries released-value protection at $0.60 per pound at no charge. If you want more cushion, you can upgrade to full-value coverage, with cargo protection available up to $1,000,000 per shipment.
Do you send a whole different crew to unload at the new place?
No. On local moves the same people who carry your things out in the morning are the ones setting them up at the destination — we never swap in a fresh crew partway through.
Can your team pack the house for me too?
Yes. Our full-pack crew arrives the day before load day and wraps everything — dishes, mirrors, closets, the works — so the actual move day is nothing but loading and driving.
